Enerplus Resources (ERF) SWOT Analysis Profile

Enerplus Resources Fund is an open-end energy investment trust. During 2007 ERF production averaged 82,319 barrels of oil equivalent per day: sold 40% of natural gas on the daily AECO market; 40% on the monthly AECO market, and 20% against the day and month New York Mercantile Exchange indices. Simultaniously, Enerpluss crude oil, equaled 74% light/medium and 26% heavy. Average production was weighted on a barrel of oil equivalent basis (53% to natural gas and 47% to liquids). In mid 2007 Enerplus completed the acquisition of Kirby Oil Sands in Alberta, Canada. In February 2008 it closed acquisition of Focus Energy Trust. (read full profile)
