The company is split into two operating division: The Homebuilding division purchases and develops land for residential use and constructs both single-family homes and attached homes, including townhouses, duplexes, and condominiums, then sells them to business and individuals. The Homebuilding division also buys and sells land and lots, and markets and sells its real estate through employees and independent brokers. The Financial Services division develops, packages, and sells mortgages to home buyers, sometimes selling their servicing rights to third party investors, and provides title insurance, home examination, and closing services.
