Michael Price is an dedicated American businessman whose main focus is investment management. He started his career in 1973 and began as a research assistant at Max Heine. He went on to become partner in 1982 and then president and chairman in 1988 after the death of Max Heine from a tragic car accident. He sold Heine Securities in 1998 for 670 million. In 2001, Michael Price began his own funding company, MFP Investors. He took everything he had learned the company where he worked for twenty-eight years. Michael Price checks for companies that may be in trouble and calculates intrinsic value based on what a buyer would pay for the entire company.
