Warren Buffet: American investor, industrialist, and philanthropist. Warren Buffet is primary shareholder, chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway. Buffet is known as “Oracle of Omaha” and “Sage of Omaho”. Buffet has given away 99 percent of his fortune to philanthropic causes, mostly to the Gates Foundation. Buffet serves as a member on the board of trustees at Grinnell College. From 1951-54 Buffet was employed at Buffet-Falk & Co., at Graham-Newman Corp. from 1957-56, at Buffet Partnership, Ltd. from 1956-69, and as General Partner at Omaha from 1970-today at Berkshire Hathaway Inc. Buffet became a millionaire in 1962 and a billionaire in 1990. Buffet proposed the merging with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway which is valued at approximately $34 billion dollars.
