Edward S. "Eddie" Lampert is a businessman, American investor and financier. He got his love for stocks from his grandmother reading stock quotes to him as he sat on her lap. After a four year internship at Goldman Sachs he became the CEO, chairman, and founder of ESL Investments which he established in 1988. Mr. Lampert has been a chairman of SEARS Holdings Corporation since 2003. From 1999 to 2006 he was director of AutoZone and from 2002 to 2007 he was the director of Auto Nation. His investment style focuses on the retail sector and he typically holds his investments for several years. He holds from three to fifteen stocks at a time.
